Hello, I hope you're all OK. It's good to see a bit of sun today, though it's still really cold and windy. Hopefully it'll help the garden dry up a bit so we can get on with things out there.
I haven't been feeling like doing much crafting either. The low light levels just make you want to snuggle under a blanket and hibernate 'till spring, don't they?
I think I sorted out my sewing machine by simply changing the thread. The spool I was using seemed to be a dud one, the cotton not looking as smooth as usual. Surprising how a small thing can make a big difference. The quilt top is still waiting to be finished though, I got side tracked into having a sort out of my room and getting rid of some stuff. It was the turn of the wool today. Out it all came while I tried to decide what to do with it all.
I've got plans for a new blanket using as much of my stash as possible. Haven't decided on a pattern yet, but I think using lots of off white with all the different lighter shades should look pretty. Can't wait to get started now, but I'd better finish the sewing first!
Bye for now.
xx

Hello, I have joined my other blankets in a couple of different ways. Slip stitched together through the back loop of each stitch is very neat. Or double crochet together on the front gives a raised seam that adds some interest. xx
